People and Society is a flexible course that gives you the opportunity to study topics that are interesting and relevant to you. Topics are drawn from social studies, health and wellbeing, and religious and moral education.
You will learn about people and society from across subject areas. It helps you to develop important skills such as communication, investigation and critical thinking.

People and Society helps you to develop an open mind and respect for the values, beliefs and cultures of others. The course is very flexible. You will study themes drawn from social subjects and social sciences, including topics such as behaviour, citizenship, diversity, environment, equality, and technology. You will find out some of the consequences of the ways people behave in society.
The course has three compulsory units, plus an added value unit that assesses your practical skills.
