What do I need to get in?

Entry is at the discretion of the school or college. You should be working at SCQF level 4 when undertaking these units, particularly in English or Communications.

What will I study?

The course is made up of three compulsory units and one optional unit from a choice of three, each one taking 40 hours of study.

You will usually train at a local college. Training sessions will take place for a set number of hours and weeks during term time.

Assessment in this Course will be based on a range of practical workshop activities, supported by assessor observation checklists and candidate self-checking of quality.
