Designed to enable adults with no formal qualifications to prepare, in one year, for entry into a honours degree course in Podiatry, or HNC Health Care or in some cases HNC Social Services.

Core skills: Communications, Mathematics.

Core subjects include: Biology and Chemistry.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements however applicants should preferably have a gap in their formal education (3 or 5 years). For successful applicants progressing to university in health related areas. Entry subject to interview and written test.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
