You'll learn about:
Health and Safety Procedures; Chair Side Support During Assessment and Dental Treatments; Oral Health Provision; Producing Dental X-rays.
This course includes a work placement and a written exam in November, leading to a practical exam set by the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN). As part of the course you will have to complete an evidence-based portfolio with knowledge gained from work placement.
3 subjects at National 5 including English and Biology or another science subject.
