This occupational therapy support distance learning course is designed to develop and enhance knowledge and skills in occupational therapy for support workers currently employed in this role.

Units include: Context and Development of Occupational Therapy; Needs and Rights of Service Users; Policies and Procedures; Philosophy and Theory of Occupational Therapy; Anatomy and Physiology; Psychology; Sociology; Audit; Graded Unit.

Assessment is continuous, with a mix of practical and theoretical assessments.

Entry Requirements

You must be employed as a support worker in occupational therapy. A telephone interview will be arranged on receipt of application.
