This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you will need for a career in the care sector. You will be well prepared for environments such as nursing homes, residential homes, resource centres for people with learning disabilities. You will consider who needs care, what provision is available and crucially, the roles and responsibilities of the care worker.

You'll study: Human Development & Behaviour; Health Promotion; Stress and Stress Management; Caring for people with Dementia; Practical Skills for Care; Moving and Assisting.

Entry Requirements

5 relevant subjects at National 5; or NC Child, Health and Social Care (Level 5). All applicants will be invited for interview.
