2025 entry requirements
Standard entry:
5 Highers at AAAAB including Chemistry and one from Maths, Biology (or Human Biology) or Physics plus English, Maths and Biology at National 5 at B (if not held at Higher).
Widening access entry:
5 Highers at AAABB including Chemistry and one from Maths, Biology (or Human Biology) or Physics plus English, Maths and Biology at National 5 at B (if not held at Higher). (You may gain entry to the Gateway programme with 4 Highers at BBBB).
There is no direct entry from fifth year if you are a Scottish candidate, although offers will be made as usual on the Higher Qualifications you obtained in S5. You would normally be expected to study at least three subjects in sixth year and expect to obtain BBB in Advanced Highers or new Highers.
