This course aims to develop knowledge of providing patient care. Learners will study the professional standards and the psychological and sociological aspects of care. They will gain a good understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body and both mental and physical disease processes. A work placement will be undertaken.
2 relevant Highers, English preferred; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. A qualification in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology would be an advantage. Written test.
