Content

This course is a SWAP (Scottish Wider Access Programme) which supports adults, ordinarily resident in Scotland to return to education after a gap. It will help you to develop the skills you need to progress into Higher Education, to a wide range of HNC, HND and degree level courses.

Units studied include:
Core skills (communication, ICT, numerac); Values and principles in care; First Aid; Human Biology.

Entry Requirements

National 5 Biology preferred. A professional reference and written piece is required before interview.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
