On this course you’ll acquire essential skills and knowledge that will prepare you for a range of paths within healthcare. This qualification and the experience you’ll gain from the course will make you desirable to dental practices. Many of our previous students have moved straight into dental nursing positions.
Content includes:
Decontamination; first aid; health and safety; dental anatomy; dental patient care; clinical assessment; and, instruments, materials, and equipment used in dental practice.
3 subjects at National 5, or Health and Social Care (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
