Students will undertake a variety of health related subjects such as: - Sociology; Psychology; Health Care Policy; Anatomy and Physiology. Teaching and learning will take place in the college environment as well as a clinical placement to develop their understanding, knowledge and skills.
2 Highers, preferably including English and a science subject plus National 5 Maths, or Access to Nursing (SWAP), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and pre-entry test part of the entry process.
Interview and written test. You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
Students can progress on to university or into employment within the care field.
