This course is made up of three units: an introductory unit that will introduce you to the communication skills, values and qualities required of the care worker, you will also learn about inter-professional working and the importance of collaboration in the delivery of effective person centred care.

Units include: Communication and Inter-professional Working in Care; Maternal Health and Wellbeing; Maternal and Foetal Health and Wellbeing.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers preferably including English plus National 5 Maths, NC Level 6 in a health or care related area or SWAP Access to Nursing. Interview.
