The programme may include the following units, which will be a combination of National 5, and Higher Units: Values and Principles in Care, Caring for People with Dementia, Health Promotion, Application of Mathematics, Communication, Information and Communication Technology, Environmental Biology and Genetics. Ensure Your Own Actions Support the Care, Protection and Well-Being of Individuals and Preparation for Higher Education.

As added value, included in this programme is also an NPA in Re-ablement and Higher Care, which will support further study at College should applicants decide they do not wish to progress onto their Nursing Degree. The course content is subject to change.

Entry Requirements

This programme is developed for adults who are returning to education and left school with no, few or qualifications which are now out of date. Entry subject to interview and advice session.
