Take your first step towards a degree in Diagnostic Imaging or Radiotherapy and Oncology — and an inspiring career in healthcare science.

This Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP) course is designed for adults returning to education who want to study Therapeutic or Diagnostic Radiography at university. You’ll gain the academic skills, scientific understanding, and confidence needed for degree-level study in health and medical imaging.

You’ll study the key science and academic subjects required for degree-level health and imaging programmes, including:

Biology; Physics; Mathematics; Communication Skills; Information Technology; Preparation for Higher Education.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements however applicants should preferably have a gap in their formal education. An interest in Maths and Physics is required for this course. Entry subject to interview and written test.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
