The BSc Adult Nursing provides the knowledge, skills, practical experience and confidence you need for a successful career in nursing.
Our course is 50% work-based learning, so you'll be able to put what you learn in the classroom into practice in a real-life clinical environment. This combination of theory and practical skills means that you will be able to provide professional, practical care and expert advice for people in their time of greatest vulnerability and need, and to minimise ill-health.

On completing our course at UWS, you will be able to register as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
2021 entry requirements:
3 Highers at BBC plus English and Maths at National 5.
On successful completion of your award you will be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse in Adult Nursing.
