Aberdeen City Campus
In the next few years, it is expected that job creation in the Creative Industries will be greater than in the general labour market. Companies across all business sectors are looking to fully exploit the potential presented by the fast paced, dynamic and constantly evolving digital world.
The Creative Media course is primarily a practical course. However, research, regulation and understanding the industry are important considerations in any pre-production planning and the course also covers those areas.
Over the year you will plan and produce:
Audio – short radio feature/podcast on a subject of your choice
Video – various videos with a given general remit but open to personal interpretation
Visual – a website to showcase your creativity: images/design and including audio and video projects
3 subjects at National 5, preferably including English.
