This course provides the firm foundation necessary for a successful career in the television (TV) industry. Through practical, hands on experience, students develop the theoretical and technical skills required within the industry. It features a range of subjects including: location camera, sound recording, editing, programme planning and production, and studio production skills. You'll work on a variety of projects - both college based and external. A significant part of the course delivery is based around working as part of our television channel production team.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; preferably English or a science or creative subject. Relevant NC preferably NC Creative Industries or NC Media. You will be required to attend an interview where you must be able to show a genuine interest and understanding of television and the media.
