This course will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the ever-evolving audio industry. With state-of-the-art facilities and industry-standard equipment, including a suite of studios including four SSL studios, four pre-sonus studios, specialist spatial audio post-production rooms and a 200-capacity auditorium.

Our curriculum covers everything from studio recording techniques to live sound engineering, audio production for audiovisuals, sound design, and post-production. You'll gain proficiency in using industry-standard software and hardware, honing your skills in our sector-leading facilities, and working with our staff, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience across all areas of audio production.

Content includes:

Studio recording and production; Mixing, audio editing and post-production; Digital audio workstations (Pro-tools, Logic, Ableton); Mastering (taught in year 2); Sound design and Foley; Audio and music production and visuals; Sound for live events; Audio post-production.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers. You will be invited to attend an interview and show examples of your work.
