On this course you'll acquire essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in the dynamic world of audio production. You'll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and have the chance to work on exciting real-world projects. This course empowers you to pursue a variety of rewarding careers in the music and sound industry.

Subjects may include: Sound Production Theory; audio engineering; mixing; acoustics; sound reinforcement; digital audio workstations; the creative industries; and, game audio design.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, preferably Music or Music Technology, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Progression on to HND Sound Production or relevant degree course at university, or employment.
