This highly practical, project-based course will have you working as a team on real-world projects. In our creative labs, you'll get hands-on experience with industry-standard software, learning to plan, produce, and edit, culminating in a standout portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity.

You will learn how to plan, produce and edit a variety of media using industry standard software in our creative labs. You will also learn about the core components of film and TV production: camera, lighting, editing and sound.

Units include elements from the following:

Lighting; Directing; Video Production; Creative Project.

On completion of this course candidates will achieve an NPA in Film and Media.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5, preferably including English. Interview.
