This new HNC Award was developed to address the current demand and growth of employment across audio content creation, particularly within podcasting. The college has the licences and facilities to broadcast live shows and produce podcast content in both audio and video formats.
You'll study:
Radio Interviewing; Radio Production 1: Analysing and Producing Radio Programmes; Radio Presentation; Radio Music Programme Production; Research Skills; Writing for the Media; Video Production 1: Planning and Production; Camera: An Introduction; Editing: An Introduction; Digital Video Journalism; Graded Unit.
Higher English, Media or Music Technology, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
Students can progress to HND Podcasting and Media, HND Creative Industries: Television or HND Media and Communication.
