Interested in working in film and TV? This course is a great way to start building your practical skills while learning how it all works. You’ll get the chance to work as part of a production team creating television documentaries, dramas, music videos and adverts, focusing on essential skills like pre-production, camera operation, sound recording, lighting and editing. This course also helps you understand the soft skills you need for a successful career in the industry, from collaboration to production paperwork. If you’re successful on this course you can progress to HND Digital Film and Television.

During this broadcasting course, you'll learn the basics in the production of short films and the development of technical skills, including lighting, sound recording and basic camera skills.
You will learn to produce production paperwork needed for film productions, as well as editing.

We also focus on the soft skills and etiquette that are essential to work within the creative industry.

1 subject at National 5.
