Interested in working in film and TV? This course is a great way to start building your practical skills while learning how it all works.

You’ll get the chance to work as part of a production team creating television documentaries, dramas, music videos and adverts, focusing on essential skills like pre-production, camera operation, sound recording, lighting and editing.

This course also helps you understand the soft skills you need for a successful career in the industry, from collaboration to production paperwork. If you’re successful on this course you can progress to HND Digital Film and Television.

You'll learn the basics in the production of short films and the development of technical skills, including:

Lighting, sound recording and basic camera skills; producing production paperwork needed for film productions; Editing.

You will also focus on Soft Skills and etiquette that are essential within the creative industry.
