This course offers an introduction to the exciting world of media. Designed to be engaging and relevant to your interests, it aims to equip you with a diverse set of skills and knowledge in both the practical and theoretical aspects of media.

Throughout this course, you will dive into hands-on activities, such as photography, basic web development, video production, and radio interviewing and podcasting. These skills will not only make you media-savvy but also open exciting career and progression possibilities. You'll also learn to analyse and create media content, understanding how messages are crafted and delivered to the public.

Video Production; Radio Production / Podcasting; Media Analysis; Social media; and Photography.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English; or NQ Access to Creative Industries (Level 4), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.
