You’ll get the chance to work on an exciting range of media projects, from film scripts to graphic novels. You’ll also get a communication skills qualification which will build your language confidence and help you work well with others, and you’ll have a guidance tutor who will support you with personal development and employability skills.
During this Gateway to Media course you'll:
Complete media projects in press and magazines, media production, social media, comics and graphic novels, photography, television and film.
Learn a communications National 5 SQA qualification, helping you to improve your language skills and giving you the qualification you need to apply to further college courses.
Study employability and personal development qualifications at National 5 in self and work, volunteering and sustainability.
Complete voluntary placements and gain valuable experience that will support you in your future career.
No formal entry requirements. Interview.
