HNC in Television and Film with Multicamera Operation will cover single-camera production for television, film and other screen platforms, and multi-camera studio production. The course will give you an essential grounding in the knowledge and skills required to work in these fields, teach you workflow, process and procedure, and you will learn about different job roles in the industry and how they interact with one another. You will learn about narrative, formats and techniques for audience engagement.

Industry context, job roles and potential areas of employment; Production Planning and Production ; Management; Single camera and multi-camera on location; Studio and location sound recording for television; Studio and location lighting for television; Editing; Compositing & motion graphics; Audio Post-Production; Presentation and pitching skills.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers at B plus English and Maths at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and portfolio.
