On this exciting and fun course you will be introduced to a range of audio-visual skills and techniques using our Radio Studio, Television Studio and Recording Studio complex. You will learn how to create content for digital media/broadcasting and streaming e.g. Podcasts, Media Content for Streaming or Website, you will pick up a wide range of media production and content creation skills. This course will also significantly improve your digital literacy skills.

You will work in small groups on creative projects to create a response to a client's brief. You'll pitch your ideas and the final output to the client(s). You'll gain recognition for hard work, problem solving, working as an important part of a team and especially where you've applied your talent and skills in a uniquely positive way.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4, English preferred, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.

Progression Routes

Upon successful completion you can join the Intermediated Certificate: Broadcast Media or Intermediate Certificate: Photography.
