This exciting programme will provide students with an industry standard grounding in media and communications, with a specialist focus on knowledge and skills for high end content creation across specialisms and platforms. HND Media Production students will be actively engaged in the creation, development and management of the college's digital platforms, while learning and developing their professional capacity and networks. This course is enhanced by regular opportunities to engage in live projects for real life clients leading to a vocational ‘industry ready’ route for anyone who wants to work in high end media content creation.

Scriptwriting; Storytelling; Video Production - Film and TV; Audio Production - Radio and Podcasting; Social Media; Photography; Animation; Writing for Media; Working in the Creative Economy; Pitching and Promoting; Enterprise Activity; Legal Issues in the Media; Independent Project Work.
2 Highers including English; (Modern Studies and/or Media recommended but not mandatory) and 4 subjects at National 4, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
