This course covers broadcast television, studio and location work, research, scriptwriting and new media. You'll be well placed to apply for a limited number of competitive internship placements at STV and other local production companies offering valuable hands-on experience in video, broadcast, editing and online production.

You should have completed two years of HND study, or equivalent, before beginning two years of further study leading to the award of BA Honours. Direct entry to Year 3 allows further education students to succeed at university.

Year 3:
TV Factual Research; TV Script-writing; TV Factual Production; TV Studies; TV Drama Production; TV Studio Presentation.

Year 4 (some modules are optional):
TV Entertainment Production; Final Project Research; Work Placement; Dissertation; TV Final Project; TV Professional Development.
