The course is intended for anyone who wishes to prepare for a craft apprenticeship in Roof Slating and Tiling.

Preparation for apprenticeship application and employability skills in general are key course aims.

In addition to a range of introductory roof Slating and Tiling units, you will also undertake units on:
Health and Safety; Access Platforms; Construction Drawing; Construction Numeracy.

You will receive training towards CSCS testing.

Progression Routes

While the pre-apprenticeship is in roof slating and tiling, there are many transferable skills and attitudes gained throughout the progress of the course which students can and have employed to gain apprenticeships and other careers within construction sector.
