You'll study practical and theoretical units covering aspects of carpentry and joinery. You'll also have the opportunity to develop transferable skills which are important if you want to gain employment within the Construction Industry.

You'll study:
Construction Safety Practices; Bench Joinery Skills; Site Joinery Skills; Carpentry and Joinery; Repair and Maintenance.

You will also study Communication, Numeracy, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Entry Requirements

Practical Woodworking or Metalworking at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
