This course delivered at the Alloa Campus, provides students with experience of a broad range of practical construction trade skills and aims to give individuals greater confidence in their own abilities and inform them about opportunities for progression within the Construction sector.

The course covers the following skills required within Construction trades:
Workshop Skills; Construction Materials; Health and Safety; The interpretation of Technical Drawings; Maths/Numeracy for Construction; Communication; Information Technology.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English and Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Selection by interview.

Progression Routes

All students who successfully complete this course will be guaranteed a place on a construction trade pre-apprenticeship course.
