This introductory course will allow you to learn the basics of graphic design using the Adobe Creative Suite to create real-world projects.
You will discover the tools you need for starting a design project as well as understanding the fundamentals of layout, colour, illustration and typography.
From logo design to poster design, you’ll explore real-life projects that will teach you the techniques used in today’s marketplace.
You’ll learn how to use the Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) to:
Design a logo; Create vector illustrations; Edit and manipulate images; Produce a print ready poster.
No previous Graphic Design experience is required, however a working knowledge of computers and some software would be advantageous.
This course will offer the opportunity to develop introductory knowledge and skills in the area of Graphic Design. It would benefit those wishing to pursue a career and/or further study in this area.
