The course includes life drawing, painting skills, printmaking, personal projects, research methods and contextual studies exploring the work of relevant artists/designers. This course is delivered until April in alignment with art school interviews/portfolio dates, with staff supporting learners through the UCAS application process.
Preferably English and Art and Design at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Portfolio and interview.
Learners wishing to progress onto a degree course at university must check the entry requirements for individual institutions as they vary. Learners may also apply to other HN level Art & Design courses at college.
