The BSc Biological Sciences degree is a broad-based course with a diverse range of topics. In Levels three and four you’ll be able to select from courses ranging from molecular biology and genomics, to marine and environmental topics. Which means you can choose your courses based on your particular interests.

Entry Requirements

2024 entry requirements:
Standard entry: 4 Highers at AABB including one from Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Human Biology or Physics plus English and Maths at National 5.

Widening access entry: 4 Highers at BBBC including one from Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Human Biology or Physics at B plus English and Maths at National 5.

For entry to Level 2 you would require 2 Advanced Highers at BB including Biology or Human Biology plus 4 Highers at AABB.
