Aimed at those with limited formal qualifications in science, this course will increase your understanding of scientific principles and practice.
A large amount of the course will involve stimulating practical activities, experiments and laboratory work – ensuring the course is exciting, engaging and informative.
Examples of practical activities may include: the study of microbial growth in foodstuffs, the production of electricity from chemicals, and the applications of physics to forensic investigations.
Course includes:
Chemistry; Biology; Microbiology; Physics; Science practical & investigation skills; Maths; Science & technology.
Relevant subjects at National 5 or Introduction to Science (Level 4).
