This course introduces learners to the fast-growing fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, providing practical skills and essential knowledge for progression into further study or emerging careers in technology. You’ll explore how data is collected, analysed, protected, and used to make intelligent decisions, while also developing key computing and programming skills.

You will study:

Artificial intelligence; Data science; Data citizenship; Data security; Data science statistics; Computer programming; Computer network fundamentals; Computing project.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 preferably including English, Maths and Computing Science, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
