This one-year course offers a supportive and structured route into higher-level science qualifications. It’s designed for learners who have already achieved National 5 qualifications and are ready to progress to Higher-level (SCQF 6) study across the main scientific disciplines.

You’ll explore Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computing, and Communication, developing both theoretical and practical skills through engaging experiments and investigations. The course helps you identify your scientific strengths while building confidence for further study at HNC or HND level.

Entry Requirements

English, Maths, Chemistry and Biology at National 5, or NQ Steps Into Science (Level 5)
