This course provides you with an ideal route towards a career in Science and technology or into health-related studies such as: nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical science, podiatry and speech therapy. Suitable for those returning to education, this course is recognised by SWAP-East (Scottish Wider Access Program), which allows progression to a wide range of HNC, HND and degree level courses.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including Biology is preferred; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

Progression Routes

The Access programme should open up higher level study options including the HNC Applied Sciences and science related degrees.

This course prepares you for a wide range of career options in science, physiotherapy, podiatry, technology and health based industries. Further study may be open to you at degree level in science, technology, environmental or health related science fields.
