This course is intended to provide learners with a broad knowledge of key business functions alongside an associated range of practical skills in areas such as IT, Administration, Finance, Marketing and Customer Care. Additionally, for students aiming to seek employment on completing this course, a work placement is one option, whilst those planning to continue on to higher level courses can prepare with a special study skills programme as an alternative option.
The course includes a lot of practical elements, allowing students to apply and demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience gained.
3 subjects at National 5 preferably including English and Maths; or Introduction to Business and Administration (Level 4); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4 or 5.
Relevant HNC or HND programme.
