This course contains mandatory topics at Higher level covering areas of Biology, Chemistry, Maths and practical skills.

Learners will also have the opportunity to sit the external SQA exams for Chemistry and Higher Human Biology.

This course will provide the basis to progress onto studying science at HNC level. The course would suit learners with National 5 qualifications in science subjects who would like to progress onto HNC Applied Science or related course.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including Maths or Chemistry.

Progression Routes

Successful completion of the course with satisfactory attendance allows entry to HNC Applied Sciences and then progression to university.
