This specialist chemistry route through our BSc (Honours) Natural Sciences, accredited by the Society for Natural Sciences, develops your understanding of molecular structure, properties, and reactivity, and how these underpin the world around us. You’ll gain strong analytical and scientific literacy skills through practical work and a research project, learning to investigate chemical problems and communicate findings effectively. With a mix of theory and hands-on practice, this route prepares you for further study or careers in chemistry, research, materials science, pharmaceuticals, or any field where rigorous scientific reasoning is valued.
