If you want to start your career with a year's work experience in hand, then you should consider this Programme. It combines the rigorous studies of the BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Finance with a year-long work placement in level 4.

In addition to your year-long work placements you will follow the BSc Mathematics with Finance programme that caters to the escalating need for graduates with a robust mathematical background and a keen understanding of the intricacies inherent in financial markets, financial modelling, and corporate finance. The programme combines a rigorous education in mathematical theory and practice, developing expertise across pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and computational mathematics with courses in all the key areas of modern finance that are taught by discipline experts.

5 Highers at ABBBB (Standard entry) or BBBC (Widening access entry) including Maths plus English at National 5.

For entry to year 2 you would require 3 Advanced Highers at ABB including Maths plus above.
