Content

This course allows you to study the sciences at National 5 level, developing the necessary scientific skills and expertise with a view to progressing to a Higher level course at SCQF Level 6 or directly into employment on one of the fast-growing, well-paid specialist STEM sectors.

You can choose a minimum of two subjects from the following to study at N5 level:
Biology; Chemistry; Mathematics; Physics.

You will develop the Core Skills of information technology and communication.

You will be expected to complete a laboratory science programme to introduce you to the Essential Skills required for a career in science.

You will also learn about Sustainability and Environmental Sciences.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English, Maths and a science subject. Interview.
