University of Strathclyde

Content

Each year you will study International Business alongside other business subjects. In Year 1 you will
study a range of business subjects along with an introduction to international business, providing you
with a foundation in business.

The final module in Year 1 is the Management Development Programme, which you will also take in
Years 2 and 3. This connecting module brings together learning from your other subjects to work on real business problems in student project teams.

At the end of Year 1, you will choose two business subjects to study in Years 2 and 3 along with the core international business modules. Your choice of business subjects includes Business Analysis & Technology, Business Enterprise, Economics, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

In Year 3 there is a requirement to complete an international experience which normally involves one semester studying abroad.

In Year 4 you will choose one business subject and undertake a dissertation with an international business focus.
