This comprehensive course will give you both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills for modern sciences. You will specialise in two of the major branches of science – chemistry and physics.

The course also includes a large amount of training in essential practical skills and the use of modern analytical instrumentation of direct relevance to local and national employers.

Scientific communication and presentation skills are also developed, which along with the extensive laboratory skills and scientific theoretical knowledge gained, ensures that our HNC and HND graduates are highly sought after by employers.

Entry Requirements

Higher Chemistry and Physics; or Higher Chemistry or Physics plus the other at National 5 at B. Maths required at National 5 at B; or NC Applied Science (Level 6).
