This course prepares you to become a Technician, or Technical Engineer in the Electrical Engineering Industry which deals with the production, transmission, distribution, and application of electricity and the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

During the course, we will cover electrical circuit analysis using the latest available software packages, and laboratory analysis will be conducted on magnetic principles and practical electrical machines.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including Maths and preferably Physics; or NC Electrical Engineering (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
