This course will prepare you for Visual Communication roles that require creativity, conceptual thinking, critical analysis, and planning and reflection skills. You will experience industry-standard approaches and technology to develop solutions to client commissions for a diverse range of promotion, advertising, packaging and illustration by visually communicating ideas for client purposes. You will build a portfolio of work to make decisions for progression to university or employment.

You will study:
Graphic design; Typography; Experimental illustration; Sustainable design; Social media; Advanced software design skills; Developmental drawing.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, preferably including Art and Design, English preferred; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
