NQ Engineering Systems Level 6 is for those who want to progress to studying either Engineering or Aircraft Engineering. This course will give you the academic skills and experience to progress to Higher Education. You will learn the principles of engineering in mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will gain some experience and knowledge of the oil and gas sector and on-shore and off-shore renewable energies.

You will study subjects including:

Mechanical Engineering Principles; Process Measurement and Control; Engineering Systems; Maths; Engineering Materials; Electrical Principles; Electrical Test and Measurement; Thermofluids.

Entry Requirements

National 5 Maths, or NQ Engineering Practices (Level 5). Entry subject to interview.

HNC Aircraft Engineering or Engineering Systems or other relevant HNC
