This course provides a wide range of Core and Engineering Skills in Electrical and Electronics Engineering enabling learners to progress to advanced level study.

Content:
Transformers; Power Systems; Electrical Motor Drive; Electrical Machine Principles; Power Electronics; Transmission Lines and Complex Waves; Digital Electronics; Mathematics; Electrical Installation Skills; Business Awareness and Continuing Professional Development; Programmable Logical Controllers; Analogue Electronics; Electrical Standby Systems; Utilisation of Electrical Energy in Buildings.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths and a science or technological subject; or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Selection by two stage interview.
