This course will provide you with the engineering knowledge and practical skills in fabrication and welding that you need to progress your engineering journey.
You will study a mix of technical, theory and practical component in our well-equipped engineering department. As well as skills in a range of welding applications, you will gain knowledge in fabrication process, welding specification and testing, computer aided draughting underpinned by relevant theory, health and safety procedures and develop your meta skills.
National 5 English, Maths and a science or technological subject. National 5 SfW Engineering an advantage. Or NQ Fabrication and Welding (Level 5), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
